Frank Marzano: Guestbook

Franky,
It was so great to see you again this Christmas. Besides Jason and the Herff Family you are one of the only people I have known since grade school and still have the pleasure to be in contact with. I hope one day I can visit you in Pennsylvania someday and carry our friendship much further.
I checked out your web site and it is very impressive. My friend you have a lot of talent and it makes me proud that you are doing something special outside your professional life that you love. I believe that music is without a doubt one of the greatest joys in life. The fact that you are a gifted singer and song writer is wonderful and I praise you for your ability.
I am a huge fan of Van Morrison who is a renowned signer and song writer. In fact I have traveled to Europe to see him in concert. I admire Van because like you he writes and composes his songs as feel-good poetry to express his muse without a need to pander to what is the flavor of the month. Like you his voice is so unique it is more like an additional instrument to his compositions that accompany each song.
Check out Van Morrison’s song book works. I think you can do a great job covering some of his non mainstream songs like Tupelo Honey, Troubadours, Celtic New Year, and a host of others.
Keep up the good work.
Yours truly,
Johnny Katsivalis

Hey Dr. Marzano, it's Jake Ford. I took some calculus classes from you back in 04, 05. I'm back at the boro, after a 3yr stay in Denver, for my Masters in secondary education and earth and space science teahcing certification. I saw you in the stariwell at the library a few days ago but I was in the middle of a phone conversation. I hope everything is going good for you. I've listened to some of your songs on the site and thier good man! I'll let you go as I'm getting back to hearing the rest of your tunes. Have a good day and hope to see you out playing in the Boro. Wow, I'm surprised. I've written a few of my own with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Lucas Richman back in 2001-2002 and here it is four years later and I'm at in again with a music major from Edinboro with "Forever Strong" performing for the President. Even though we're two completely different genres you're still an inspiration for me. That B that I'm aiming for in your class is as good as gold. Keep up the great tunes...

Looking Forword to the CD. I have enjoyed what I have heard on "Foul Weather Friend" CD, but I still haven't had the time to sit down and soak it in. It's on in my car to and from work.
